The URC is looking for people dedicated to our goal of saving lives by eliminating exposure to radon gas.
How can I become a member?
Membership is approved by the Board of Directors. To initiate the membership approval process you will complete and submit an application. Your application will be reviewed in a regular meeting of the Board. If the Board has questions, they may ask you to attend the meeting. Once your membership has been approved, you will pay the annual membership fee, which is $50 for an individual representing their own interest in the radon issue, and $150 for a company or organization.

- Membership provides the opportunity to expand your leadership and professional skills.
- Membership in the URC offers the opportunity to collaborate with other leaders and a forum to communicate concerns and ideas about radon.
- Members of URC will have the opportunity to serve as a member of the Board or an officer and join committees.
- URC members who have been elected to the Board govern all procedures, functions and operations of the URC.
- Members elected as officers have the benefit of being able to assist in the day-to-day operations of the URC.
- If a URC member chooses to join a committee, they will have the benefit of either improving existing or forming new programs and priorities for consideration and approval of the Board. And if the Board approves, they may be involved in the application of those programs.
